How to request deletion of your data from PageSolver

1. Overview
PageSolver is committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data, including data obtained through Facebook integrations.
You can delete your data at any time through your dashboard or by contacting our support team. We process all deletion requests within 30 days as required by data protection regulations.
2. Data We Collect from Facebook
When you connect your Facebook account to PageSolver, we may collect and store the following information:
- OAuth Access Tokens: Secure tokens that allow PageSolver to access your connected accounts
- Business Page Information: Page name, ID, and profile details for connected business pages
- Social Media Content: Posts, images, and engagement metrics that you choose to sync
- Account Identifiers: Facebook user IDs associated with your business
This data is used solely to provide our social media synchronisation features and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. How to Delete Your Data
Option A: Self-Service via Dashboard (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your data is through your PageSolver dashboard:
- Disconnect Social Accounts: Navigate to
Dashboard → Integrationsand click "Disconnect" next to Facebook. This immediately removes your OAuth tokens and cached social media content. - Delete Platform Data: Navigate to
Dashboard → Settingsand use the "Delete Platform Data" option to remove all Facebook data associated with your account. - Delete Your Account: Navigate to
Dashboard → Settingsand use the "Delete Account" option to permanently remove your entire PageSolver account and all associated data.
Option B: Contact Support
If you prefer, you can request data deletion by contacting our support team:

Please include your account email address and specify whether you want to delete only social media data or your entire account. We will process your request and send confirmation within 30 days.
Option C: Request via Facebook Settings
You can also request deletion directly through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to
Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites - Find PageSolver in your connected apps
- Click "Remove" and select "Delete posts, photos and videos on Facebook that PageSolver may have published on your behalf"
- Click "Send Request" to notify us of your deletion request
When you submit a deletion request through Facebook, we receive an automated notification and will process your request promptly.
4. What Gets Deleted
When Disconnecting Social Accounts
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens
- Cached social media content (posts, images, metrics)
- Platform connection records
Note: Your PageSolver account remains active. You can reconnect your social accounts at any time.
When Deleting Your Account
- All social media connections and tokens
- Business profile information
- Gallery images and comparisons
- Contact form submissions
- Change requests and history
- Review request records
- Your user account and authentication data
Important
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before requesting account deletion.
5. Data Retention
After a deletion request is processed:
- Social media data is deleted immediately upon disconnection
- Account data is permanently removed within 30 days
- Backup copies are purged within 90 days
- Some records may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., billing records for 7 years as required by Australian tax law)
